When I acquired my Meisterstück 134, I was initially surprised and delighted by the deep black color of the barrel. After disassembling the writing instrument and subjecting it to a thorough cleaning, the beautiful, elongated ink view window became visible.

Unfortunately, I also noticed that the writing instrument had been heavily used, causing the barrel to become partially transparent. Additionally, the individual view windows were not as clearly visible as in some other antique Meisterstück models.

It's a writing instrument with a long history, so to speak.

The old cork seal was replaced with a new one, the mechanism was lubricated, and finally, everything was polished and reassembled.
